Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to me.
I only collect the information needed to work with you—typically your name, email, and any project details you choose to share through forms, email, or consultations.
Your information is never sold or shared with third parties. It’s used strictly for communication, collaboration, and occasional updates related to your project or offerings.
If you ever want your information updated or removed, just reach out.
Cancellations & Refund Policy
You've taken a leap of faith trusting me with your site, and the best case scenario is that it's smooth sailing and enjoyable for both of us, with you being absolutely thrilled with what we've built together, naturally. But life happens. Circumstances change. And sometimes what seemed like a great fit on paper can feel a bit different in practice. I get it. And the goal is for this to be stress-free for both of us from beginning to completion.
The reason I break payments into three installments is because I want this to feel fair at every stage. That way the financial side of things stays in step with the work, so you're never paying far ahead of where we are, and I'm never working far ahead of what's been covered. It's one of the ways I try to make this process feel as safe and straightforward as possible.
Here's my policy:
Before work begins
If you need to cancel before the project kicks off, I’m happy to offer a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. This covers the time already spent processing your project, putting together your proposal, and the preparation that happens before kick-off. Just let me know as soon as possible so I can make the necessary adjustments on my end.
After the project has started
Once we've entered the design and development phase, payments already made are non-refundable, they reflect the time, preparation, and creative work already invested in your project. If you need to stop at any point, no further payments will be charged beyond what is due for work already delivered.
On design style
Part of our discovery process is making sure we're aligned on style and direction before we get into the nitty gritty. If you've reviewed my work, signed off on the wireframe and design direction, and we're mid-project, but your vision shifts or something doesn't feel right once you see it, the revision process is where we work through that together. It's built into the project for this purpose.
If something goes genuinely wrong
If there's a situation that falls outside of what's described here, reach out and let's talk about it. I’m open to finding a solution that works for both of us rather than leaving either one of us feeling stuck.
Terms of Service
By working together, you agree to a few simple things that help the process run smoothly:
-
A signed agreement and initial payment are required to secure your project start.
-
Remaining payments follow the schedule outlined in your proposal.
-
Timelines depend on clear communication, timely feedback, and delivery of content from your side.
-
If communication goes quiet for an extended period, the project may be paused or rescheduled.
-
Final files and deliverables are shared once full payment is complete.
-
I may share completed work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.
The goal is a process that feels clear, steady, and respectful on both sides.
AI Usage
I may use AI tools in small, supportive ways like research, idea exploration, or early-stage concepts.
That said, your project is not generated or handed off to AI.
All final design, structure, and creative direction are shaped, reviewed, and refined by me to ensure it feels aligned, original, and human.
Copyright
All work remains my intellectual property until full payment is received.
Once the project is complete, you’ll receive the agreed-upon rights to use your designs, website and other content as outlined in your proposal.
You’re free to use what’s created for your brand, but not to resell, redistribute, or repurpose the work for other commercial uses without permission.
I may share selected work in my portfolio and across my platforms, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.
