PITCH DECK

LEAVING SEAPOINT

About the client

The client was developing a film project and needed a pitch deck that could communicate the concept in a professional and visually engaging way.

They came to me with some initial mockups and a clear idea of the direction they wanted to explore. My role was to develop that foundation into a cohesive, presentation-ready deck.

"It was an absolute pleasure working with you. You’ve managed to bring our vision to life."

The Brief

The deck needed to feel polished enough for a professional film pitch while still reflecting the creative nature of the project. The challenge was to take the ideas the client had already started exploring and give them enough structure and consistency to work across the full presentation.

The Approach

Discovery

We started with a conversation about the film, the purpose of the deck, and the ideas behind the initial mockups. This helped me understand what was important to the client and where the design needed to go.

"You care about the work and want to understand the ask to deliver the best work.”

Design and Build

I worked through the deck section by section, developing layouts and refining the visual elements. Typography, imagery, spacing, composition, and graphic details were considered as part of one visual system, helping the presentation feel cohesive from beginning to end.

Review and Refine

As the deck came together, we reviewed the work and made adjustments along the way. This gave us a chance to fine-tune the layouts, respond to feedback, and make sure the final details were working as intended.

“It was a great experience. You’re responsive and adaptable to change.”

The Result

The final deck gave the client a polished and cohesive presentation to use when pitching their film project. Starting from their ideas and early mockups, we developed a visual direction that felt professional while still retaining the creative character of the project. Despite the short turnaround, the process was collaborative and came together smoothly, with the client happy with the final result.
