MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION
RABC Gala
About the client
RABC works to support and empower young women through mentorship, education, and community. For their gala, they wanted to share the journeys of the young women they support and give the audience a chance to connect with their stories.
I had the opportunity to partner with RABC through Catchafire, which connects nonprofits with professionals for pro bono projects.
The Brief
The goal was to create a multimedia presentation for the gala that would showcase the young women’s journeys in a way that felt engaging, personal, and appropriate for the occasion.
RABC provided the overall direction, suggested structure, and content, giving me a strong starting point to work from

“The slideshow is fabulous... we just love it! I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.”
The Approach
Discovery
We got on a call to talk through the gala, what RABC wanted the evening to communicate, and what was most important to them. I also wanted to understand how they planned to show the presentation during the event, what formats they were comfortable working with, and what I would need from them to put it together.
That conversation gave me a clear starting point for the project and helped me understand how the multimedia piece needed to fit into the evening.
“Renee really connected with our mission and brought both thoughtfulness and creativity to the project.”
Design and Build
I took the initial direction and brought the different pieces of content together into a multimedia presentation, working with imagery, text, movement, and transitions to create a clear flow from one story to the next.
As new material came in and changes were requested, I adapted the presentation and continued refining it.
“She took it from there, owning the process and pulling everything together seamlessly.”
Review and Refine
There was a lot of back and forth as the presentation came together. RABC added material and requested changes along the way, and I worked those into the piece while keeping everything moving toward the final version.
“When we added material or requested changes, she was flexible and responsive.”
The Result
The final gala video was shown during the event and helped introduce new people to RABC while giving longtime supporters a chance to reconnect with the organization and the work they do.

The response from the team was incredibly positive.
